Wellbeing
Emotional wellbeing has been defined by the WHO as: “A positive state of mind and body, feeling safe and able to cope, with a sense of connection with people, communities and the wider environment.”
Eastbury Farm Primary School is committed to promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing for our whole school community; pupils, staff, governors, parents and carers.
We strive for our school community to:
- Feel safe
- Have high self-esteem and feel confident in themselves
- Be able to express a range of emotions and feelings
- Be able to make and maintain positive relationships with others
- Be emotionally resilient, manage times of stress and be able to deal with change
- Learn and achieve their full potential
- Feel comfortable to share concerns and worries in order to access help when needed
