Personal, social, emotional and health and relationships curriculum

At Eastbury Farm Primary School, we teach Personal, Social, Health Education as a whole-school approach to underpin children’s development as people and because we believe that this also supports their learning capacity. The Jigsaw Programme offers us a comprehensive, carefully thought-through Scheme of Work which brings consistency and progression to our children’s learning in this vital curriculum area. The overview of the programme can be viewed below.   In the final part of the summer term, we teach the 'Changing Me' units to all our year groups.  We provide the opportunity for parents to review the materials prior to the final summer term.   The presentation below also sets out the content for each year group, including the key vocabulary.   The policy adopted by our governing board on how we teach PSHE and the statutory relationships and health curriculum is available in the policies section of our website.
