Register of interests
The register of interests details the name, term of office and the appointing body of each governor on the board (e.g. parents, staff or co-opted by the board). The register of interests records pecuniary interests as well as relationships to pupils and staff in the school.
Governor link roles
Each Governor undertakes a link role, either with an element of the school curriculum or a key area such as health and safety. They meet at least twice a year with the relevant member of school staff in their monitoring role, offering both support and challenge. A summary of any activities undertaken with key actions and key strengths is reported to governors through a governor link report.
