Emotional wellbeing has been defined by the WHO as: “A positive state of mind and body, feeling safe and able to cope, with a sense of connection with people, communities and the wider environment.”
Eastbury Farm Primary School is committed to promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing for our whole school community; pupils, staff, governors, parents and carers.
We strive for our school community to:
Feel safe
Have high self-esteem and feel confident in themselves
Be able to express a range of emotions and feelings
Be able to make and maintain positive relationships with others
Be emotionally resilient, manage times of stress and be able to deal with change
Learn and achieve their full potential
Feel comfortable to share concerns and worries in order to access help when needed
The wellbeing of our pupils has always been important to us at Eastbury Farm, which is why we created our beautiful pastoral space ‘The Zone’ and appointed a Pastoral Teacher.
Throughout this section of the website we hope to offer you all some support and signposting to a wealth of information to support the wellbeing of you and your family.
