Connect Week @ Eastbury Farm
15th - 19th November 2021
This year we are going to combine Anti-bullying Week and Just Talk Week, calling it Connect Week – a week of activities celebrating making connections with each other and how that one kind word can make a big difference. This will also complement the Jigsaw and Stormbreak focus for this half term which is Connect and Relationships.
The theme: One Kind Word - anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons, that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week taking place from 15 to 19 of November 2021. Again and again, the young and not-so-young want anti-bullying work to be about hope and the positive and kind things we can do to halt hurtful behaviour in its tracks.
Just talk week takes place from 15th-19th November 2021 and is all about promoting the power of kindness and the importance of ensuring children are equipped with the tools they need to look after their mental health and know how to find support when it's needed. We all have mental health, just like we all have physical health. It’s ok to not be ok. Just Talk week is based around the 5 ways to wellbeing and this year we are focusing on the importance of connection and how talking shows strength.
