Governors

Chair of Governors:  Mrs Gillian Leonard

Welcome to our Governors’ section.

A few reasons why you might consider becoming a school governor at Eastbury Farm

Under its new leadership you will be supporting a well-run, high-achieving school with settled staff and committed pupils.

If you decide to join the Governing Board you will be part of a team bringing a range of expertise and diversity in skills and experience that challenges and supports the school's leadership in all aspects of strategic direction and the achievement of continuous improvement.

A governor does not simply attend meetings, review policies, make class visits and vote on decisions. More specific and detailed roles are assigned to "Link Governors", for example for finance, safeguarding, health and safety, plus curriculum topics. Through these contributions you will have the satisfaction of knowing you can make a real difference to the development of children and staff and thereby make the school the best it can be.
